Acrovision has added 3D robot vision from Belgian firm Pick-it to their portfolio, a plug and play user friendly automation solution with flexible capabilities and easy set up and calibration.
It integrates out-of-the-box with all major robot brands including the AUBO-i5 collaborative robot, also available from Acrovision. At an affordable price, it provides a fast return on investment. Set-up and calibration is easy, it is all done through a user-friendly graphical interface.
This revolutionary kit can find products of varying shapes and sizes, all colours, both matte and gloss, all materials including metal, plastic, wood and food, as well as working in changing and poor light conditions and there’s no need for extra lights.
The package consists of the 3D camera and software installed on an industrial processor. Connect a PC or laptop to the processor to configure your application through the web interface. Connect your robot of choice to the processor to program your robot with some easy commands to start picking. It comes with a promise that you can achieve ‘Your first pick on the first day’. Excellent product support is built in, available through the interface, including virtual snapshots for problem solving.
It supports the following robotic applications; automatic machine loading, bin picking, de-palletising, kitting and assembly from multiple bins and conveyor handling.
