Matthew Kiely-Smith and Elia Pym
Matthew Kiely-Smith
Matt is Acrovision’s new Technical Sales Engineer for the South East and East.
Matt graduated from the University of Nottingham with a mechanical engineering degree. He brings 2 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, working on railway electrification projects before joining Acrovision and is excited to apply himself in the world of machine vision.
Elia Pym
Elia is Acrovision’s new Junior Applications Engineer.
After gaining experience as a Service Desk Analyst and working as a freelance Broadcast Statistics Analyst, Elia is excited to join Acrovision. He is looking forward to applying what he has learned to the world of machine vision, tackling new challenges, and continuing to grow in this innovative space.
We’re thrilled to welcome Matt and Elia to the Acrovision team! With fresh energy and diverse experience, they’re set to bring new ideas and perspectives to the world of machine vision — we’re excited to see what they’ll achieve.
At the same time, it’s a bittersweet moment as we say farewell to Paul, who is retiring after an incredible 20-year journey since founding Acrovision. Paul’s vision, leadership, and dedication built the foundation we stand on today.
Though we’re sad to see him go, we’re deeply grateful for everything he’s contributed — and we wish him all the very best in this well-earned retirement. From calibrating cameras to calibrating his tennis swing!
