Technical Sales Engineer – West Midlands

Acrovision was established in 2005 and is now a leading product and solutions provider of vision inspection systems, industrial barcode reading and RFID Solutions in the UK. Key markets include Manufacturing, Warehouse & Logistics, Food, Drink & Pharmaceutical Packaging.
We offer bespoke systems as well as standard solutions such as our Validator end of line label and packaging inspection range.
We have a young and dynamic team, continually growing and self-developing. Because of the increase in number of projects and the widening of our scope of supply, we are looking for someone to fulfil the following roles:


Role Description:

This is a full-time remote role for a Technical Sales Engineer, based in the West Midlands/South West of the UK. The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for arranging, meeting and discussing projects with clients, providing product demonstrations, project proposals, and utilising technical knowledge to support the sales process.

They will also engage in Sales Engineering activities and overall sales responsibilities.

The ideal candidate for this position will be will obtain and expand the company’s business relationships. In order to succeed in this position the candidate must have a solid technical understanding of the company and its products compiled with sociable and outgoing personality to build rapport with potential clients.


Job Roles:

Day to day account management of existing customers.

Demonstrations / presentations of Acrovision’s full range of products / solutions.

Prospecting for new accounts with the assistance of internal Sales and Marketing resource.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Reporting.


Desired Qualifications / Skills:

Some form of technical training / background.

Experience in selling / supporting Automation products.

Ability to work both on their own initiative and within a team.

Experience in a relevant industry would be a bonus.

Well organized.

Interpersonal skills.

Clean Full Driving License.
