The UK’s largest event for processing and packaging machinery, industrial robots and machine vision systems.
In September, Acrovision exhibited at the PPMA Show.
We were showcasing several different applications.
L38
AI powered 3D vision inspection system. Delivers fast deployment, ease of use and reliability.
The In-Sight L38 is a next-generation 3D vision system that allows manufacturers to perform highly reliable inspections. Using a combination of embedded AI, powerful optics and industry-proven vision technology, the system captures detailed 3D images and analyses depth information to detect subtle features and measure them against pass/fail thresholds.
Validator
Acrovision has created a suite of in-line Package and Label Inspection Systems to monitor and control production lines to ensure 100% correct product in the correct packaging with the correct data. This inspection system helps to control the quality of products and their packaging, by ascertaining the sources of defects immediately after being detected by our end of line technology.
Not only can the Validator ensure quality compliance of the packaging, but it can also offer a bespoke inspection system and front end to ensure there are no foreign bodies in the products, which could again result in EPWs (Emergency Product Withdrawal) and potentially cause a health risk to the public if this is not considered.
Ansomat working with Cognex
Acrovision’s operator guidance is made easy using Cognex vision tools and Ansomat operator guidance software. We can provide a cost-effective solution to error-proof manual processes to the highest degree. With easy operator navigation and guidance, using augmented reality and projected prompts, the system facilitates training on-the-job, decreasing the time and cost it takes to train new operators. Other benefits include the prevention of human errors, therefore mitigating the risk of costly reworks.
Meca500
The Meca500, by Mecademic, is an ultra-compact six-axis robot arm, a ‘safe by design’ industrial robot in the palm of your hand. Not only is the Meca500 more than twice as small as other small industrial robots, but its controller is embedded in its palm size base. Built with precision in mind, repeatability is 0.005mm.
