Utilising the Cognex DataMan 380 barcode reader, Validator Multi automatically captures and verifies all serialised barcodes contained within a package and compares them against the associated packing list stored within the system database. This automated verification process ensures that only the correct products and serial numbers are included in each shipment.
In the event of a discrepancy, the system immediately identifies incorrect, missing, or unauthorised items and presents the information through an intuitive operator interface with live image feedback. Operators can rapidly locate and remove incorrect products, with removal actions verified using a Cognex handheld barcode scanner to maintain full traceability and auditability.
Following corrective actions, a final package scan is performed to confirm that all required products are present and that the shipment matches the authorised packing specification. Only validated packages are approved for release and dispatch.
