new vacancy Graduate ProgrammerAcrovision are looking to add to the A-Team with a junior / graduate programmer for our Industrial Vision systems. The growth of PC Vision and Deep Learning based solutions, along with our bespoke customer “front-end” offerings mean we need to strengthen our existing young and dynamic team.


Acrovision was established in 2005 and is now a leading product and solutions provider of industrial barcode reading, collaborative robots and vision inspection systems in the UK. Key markets include Automotive Manufacturing, Warehouse and Logistics and Food and Drink Packaging.

We offer bespoke systems as well as standard solutions such as our Validator end of line label and packaging inspection range.

With a growing team of currently 5 Technical Engineers, we offer market-leading pre-sales support, installation and commissioning services as well as after-sales support packages.

Job Roles: 

The applicant will carry the main role of developing front-end programs for our Vision Systems as well as designing PC Vision based solutions.

  • Joint visits with sales personnel to provide technical support in customer meetings
  • Technical assistance / product trials for new enquiries
  • Technical input to sales quotations
  • Application evaluations
  • 3D and Deep Learning Vision system programming / application writing
  • On-site installation / commissioning
  • Telephone / remote technical support for existing customers
  • Customer visits for on-site technical support
  • Visits to key suppliers for updated product training

Desired Skills:

  • Degree Qualified in Electronic / Engineering or Computer Programming
  • PC Programming (C# / .NET / JavaScript / Python)
  • Source Code Control
  • Visual Studio
  • Camera Vision Applications Experience would be a bonus
  • Ability to work both on their own initiative and within a team
  • PLC Programming would be a bonus
